My Last Car Show!

So today I decided to fire up the old girl and enter the Lake in the Hills car show.

All is good I'm enjoying the day and getting lots of great feedback on my baby.

I am the only bike there, probably because of the rain. So about 15 minutes before the end of the show a cookie cutter custom built shows up. Next thing I know they announced his bike as the winner? WtF??? This bike was the one of the ones with a SOS title that you could buy, not really a whole lot of custom. I had more effort in making my display than the guy whole pulled his credit card out to buy his "chopper " ugh I'm just ticked because he showed up last minute. I put my time in and my PanShovel is featured on the shows website.

Oh well last show for me. I'll enjoy my bike, while Mr. Chopper you can continue to go to shows and complain about the money you spent on a ridgid you don't like riding. It is a worthless lump of chrome so maybe you can sell the trophy.

Life is good

As I sit on my patio drinking a beer and smoking a cigar. All I have in my mind is..... LIFE IS GOOD!

Yes I still have a Harley

I know I've been neglecting the Panshovel a little, ok a lot. It's just the new car project and all. Well I found a door knob that will make a cooler shift knob than what was on the bike before. Here are a couple of shots with the new knob installed.

Harlista's is finally out

After seeing the original trailer for this project a couple of years back, I'm kind of surprised that the large populations of Puerto Rican Harley Riders in Chicago and New York are not represented. Hopefully the actual movie features us!

I haven't forgotten about her

I felt like I was neglecting her, but it was winter and I had become distracted by a slightly newer mistress with 4 wheels and needing a lot of attention. I set things right today. Fired my PanShovel up and rode her around. Only took about 30 kicks, which was ok considering she sat not having run all winter and I think she was upset.
It felt good to be a suicide clutching jockey shifting fool again. I did miss her so!
